Enjoyed this hotel. Very comfortable, modern and clean. We found the staff extremely helpful and accommodating. Decor was ultra modern and beds comfortable. Booked three rooms and all excellent. Breakfast was very good too. Great little restaurants and Raspail metro very handy to here.
Not far from the Montparnasse Building where you get the best view of sunsets behind the eiffel tower. Got some great shots. – C. d’Australie

This was our second trip to Paris and the Montparnasse area in two years. We had a less than satisfactory experience the first time with a nearby property on Rue de Montparnasse. This time I booked at Aiglon and spent about the same, except in the off-season, for a suite. At first I thought they had made a mistake when we arrived. The suite was at least twice the size of the first property at about 2/3 the price. Actually about 1/2 for the week days. Our suite overlooked the Montparnasse cemetery which is beautiful. The staff are very accomodating and helpful and tolerant of our attempts to speak French. The breakfasts were very good and compared to much of the area they are less expensive and very plentiful. The suite was especially nice on the few rainy and cold days where we lingered a bit longer in the rooms. This will certainly be our base hotel on return trips. It is convenient to the bus and metro. We walked from the hotel several times to the Seine, Place du Concorde and Musee du Orsay which is a nice stroll. Rooms were very quiet even on Friday and Saturday nights when there was a lot of activity in the streets.- B du Mexique

Since five years we have been staying at this hotel at least once a year, as it was always pleasant as far as the people working there and the wonderful location. Last year it was completely renovated and it has turned out beautiful and even more pleasant. To have a locked parking place makes it even better. We will certainly come back soon. – B. des Pays Bas

Very nice, clean and modern in a classic building. Helpful staff. Great location if you want to experience every day Paris, a bit off from tourist mania. It is also very convenient to all tourist hot spots via the subway. Breakfast was excellent. I would and have already recommended this Hotel.

Trying to accommodate a family of four in Paris is difficult without spending a fortune or splitting up into 2 rooms. We recently stayed in apartment A at the Hotel Aiglon and it was a fantastic choice at an excellent price. It has two bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with two singles as well as two full bathrooms. Travelling with a 16 and 12 year old means two bathrooms are a gift! The bathroom of the master has a tub and hand held shower which was marginally awkward, but still more than fine. The second bathroom is a shower stall. Water pressure and hot water were superb in both. Beds are new and rather firm.
The apartment is air conditioned (even though we didn’t need it during our trip, unfortunately). Both bedrooms have TVs, and the master has a small couch for congregating, but there isn’t a ‘den’ area, exactly. We spent most of our time outside the apartment, so when we came back it was basically to sleep anyway. The boulevard Raspail is a busy street, but the windows were excellent in the apartment – no street noise came in at all. WiFi is available, but was spotty at best.
Staff were very helpful for a few incidents we had while staying. The location was more than convenient with a metro stop at the corner (direct line to Eiffel Tower). There is a bakery across the street as a cheaper alternative for breakfast, and a great fondue restaurant also across the street. On Sundays there is a flea market on the street behind the hotel. The Jardin du Luxembourg is a short walk and is a wonderful place to visit.

We loved the hotel and it’s location in the city – nice not to be in the heart of all of the tourists and the close proximity to Gare Montparnasse was very good. Your luggage storage closet is very convenient – Merci! The only minor recommendation might be to have a list of recommended restaurants/cafes in the neighborhood to help guests narrow the choices a little.
